Experienced Financial Planner, Hannah Newbery, has joined the Asset Management team of South Wales-based accountancy firm, HSJ Accountants.
Hannah, who was previously employed in Bristol as a financial planner and prior to that with Standard Life, says she is looking forward to helping clients in Wales and the South West of England make informed decisions about looking after their money.
She said: “As a Financial Planner, I enjoy working with clients to uncover their needs and help them determine their long term goals in order to develop a financial plan. I get the most satisfaction from developing a close relationship with clients, being able to meet them regularly to review and update them on the progress made towards achieving what is important to them, whether that is retiring early or passing their estate to their families.”
Hannah, who is fully qualified and holds the CII Chartered status, says she’s looking forward to her new role and sees her challenge as being able to help clients who can often find the world of financial products confusing. She works with clients to ensure what they have is suitable for them both now and for the future. At a time of uncertainty in the broader economy it is essential to review your financial position and plan ahead.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved at an early stage of the Asset Management division’s development. I am also looking forward to working alongside the team to assist clients in choosing the right investments, plan for their retirement and ensure they have sufficient protection.”
Hannah’s appointment follows shortly after the launch of HSJ Accountants’ Asset Management division in May.
Director, Paul Curran, who heads up the division, welcomed Hannah to the team.
He said: “Hannah’s appointment is a welcome addition to the team. We now have a highly-skilled team to further develop the asset management division of HSJ Accountants; making it possible for clients to access independent financial advice and services to ensure their business and personal finances are protected and managed efficiently.”
HSJ Asset Management which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).operates on an independent basis making recommendation from the whole of the market based on each individual clients needs.
