The Firebreak Lockdown

The current firebreak lockdown is going to be difficult for us all to go through. Towards the end of the summer, a lot of businesses were going back to some normality and we were once again able to see our family and friends.

However, we are now back in our homes again and trying to avoid going back to the family quizzes. Therefore, there are plenty of things you can do to improve your business during the firebreak lockdown, for example…

Look at your internal processes

It is a great time to reflect on your business and how it runs. For instance, ask yourself some simple questions on how things happen in your business:

  • What are we doing that works for us?
  • What are we doing that doesn’t work for us?
  • What should we be doing to make our processes work better?
  • What is the biggest headache in our business?
  • How could we offer more/ better services?

These should all help you in improving your business.

Look at what systems you use

The rule of thumb with software is you should be reviewing it every 3-5 years to make sure you are using the best software for your business. Therefore, if you aren’t keeping on top of this, the likelihood is that you are not being as competitive as your rivals and missing out on new innovations.
