HSJ’s Coronavirus Contingency Plans

Important Information - March 24th

Due to the latest announcements regarding the ongoing threat of Coronavirus our office is now closed.

This is an unprecedented situation and, naturally, our priority is to protect the health and wellbeing of our colleagues and clients. However, we are also aware that we need to continue to provide a seamless level of service. Therefore we have expanded our remote working arrangements so that our team can continue to work effectively and efficiently whilst following Government guidance.

You can contact individual members of the team on their HSJ email address. Alternatively you can email your query to help@hsj.uk.com, which will then be forwarded to a colleague who will be happy to assist you.

As a client and contact of HSJ, we wanted to provide you with an update on the steps we’re taking in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. 

This is an unprecedented situation and, naturally, our priority is to protect the health and wellbeing of our colleagues and clients. However, we are also aware that we need to continue to provide a seamless level of service.

We have been meeting regularly to review our contingency plans so we can adapt our response to changing circumstances. Our main area of focus has been to expand our remote working arrangements so that we can continue to work effectively as a firm - in a proactive and flexible way.

We are now confident that we have robust and secure systems in place to allow our colleagues to continue their work with minimum disruption whilst following Government and industry guidance.

With this in mind we have implemented the following measures:

  • We are minimising the number of staff and therefore the hours spent at our offices, whilst doing our best to maintain a presence at our premises each day (Mon to Fri);
  • We have introduced policy of restricting face to face meetings, and have instructed our staff to conduct all future meetings by phone, video link (i.e. Teams, Facetime etc) wherever possible;
  • It is likely that many HSJ staff will be working remotely for the foreseeable future, therefore it is possible that you will experience a brief delay in communications (i.e. responding to emails, answering phone call etc) rest assured that we will get back to you and that your patience is appreciated during this period.

The health of our colleagues and clients are of paramount importance and we will be keeping you and our team informed every step of the way. This is a fast-moving situation, we will continue to review our working procedures and policies as the situation evolves.

We recognise that the outbreak of Covid-19 will present many of our clients with unprecedented challenges. We will endeavour to provide guidance and support to our clients and business community wherever possible.Please be mindful that the goverment is updating its guidance on a daily basis, please keep checking our guidance pages for the most up to date information.
